When does it change

Whats up yall
I was talking to a family friend today about hiphop music and she had some very interesting opinions. The main gist of it was that today’s hiphop (with very few exceptions) sucks! But, the question that arose is when will hiphop go back to being worthwhile? I’m not sure but I pose the question out, well two questions actually:
What do you think about where hiphop is currently, and when do you think it’ll change (if you think it should)

Holla at me,

Hip-Hop made too much money to preserve the art of the culture, in my opinion. Hip-Hop doesn’t need to change; as much as the people of the culture and fans of the music need to take it back. The sad part is that with all the money generated by Hip-Hop, it has been bought and sold too many times for us to buy it back: guess this is something that will have to be obtained the old fashion way- through hard work.
