Brandon “NovyNova” Smith is a Queens NYC bred emcee who’s mission is to provide some of the missing “Ying” to hiphop’s “Yang”. With witty lyrics, and a natural story telling ability Nov, more than anything else brings uniqueness to the game. as quoted by the artist its “better rhymes i’m demandin, cuz i need hiphop to survive for my grandkids.”
Novy, one of the founding members of The KotR met chief when he was in a foster home in “shadyville” queens. The two emcees spent countless hours perfecting their craft in the studio they built from the ground up called the KotR music house. It was at this studio that they met fellow queens bred emcee Throbak, and knew he would be the “sason” missing in their hiphop gumbo.
It’s been hit records ever since.
