No More Slacking
Nigga I got bud 4 sale, CD’s 4 sale that I burned at the studio*, and more love on these streets than “papi” in a drought and all I fucking hear all day all night is “That shit is hot Chief!” and I wonder where did all the haterz go?
All it took was us…
Honestly I aint have shit, he aint have shit, we had us.
Honestly you got us, we finally got yah, then he and I were replaced with me’s.(You know when everyone is shouting me me me me until it’s time to be held accountable then it’s you you you you)
Working hard versus working smart?
“I am like you; I have no choice but to do both.”
“Q & A of the day” brought to you by exotics, reggie, and newport.
What’s good people yah already know what and who, raw hip-hop and KOTR. Today it’s not the usual suspects, the homie Vital and I are in the lab closing the gap on that patent “knight” sound- Look out for the first Vital/Unc Mike single cooking as I type in a baggie or vial near you soon!
We finally got back to do it again, we told them they wasn’t crazy now we bout’ to show ‘em what real niggas ride for… Shout to Thro, Unc, Nov, and the rest of the Knights in NY- networking with respectable artist: smart work. keeping an unbiased musical ear not forcing tracks and still cranking out hits: hard smart work. rolling all these blizzies: hard work!
*Catering to bitch niggas: not part of the job description
If We Don’t Act Now The Cause Is Lost!!!
As times get harder music supplements a lot of the drive that would have been lost to exhaustion. What would you do with out the custom soundtrack that you wake up and brush your teeth to? Drive to? Excersize to? Even work to?
Imagine the dul hell that is your life with out music- Porno with no funk, movies with too many akward moments, some people would have us all subjected to such torment*
I don’t know what’s worse no music or bad music: no one wants to listen to bad music everyone would rather turn the music off- right? There are too many people having to turn off their radios and systems because they can’t get enough KOTR! It’s not right for the artist here at KOTR to stand idly by while the fans suffer but there is one who would rather we hold on to your much needed relief : *NovyNova* “I have to tell the truth we sit here and listen to at least 5 times the amount of music than you[the fan] gets to hear!”
Well I say NO MORE! NO MORE SELFISHNESS- It’s time to spread the love…
The challenge is to get one million request for KOTR to release the full stash-
The Dead line is May 5th-
The PLAN: Spread the word through every social network, sn app, hood, block, crew, fam, friend and fellow fan to take out a brief moment to stand for something by visiting the site and leaving comments casting their votes and/or via your local radio stations by calling in to make your vote public or to request more Knights Of The Round.
The Pay Out: “More fuel to fight than life has to fight you with”… and KOTR T’s and exclusive previews and stuff like that…
So far we have: 1

Stay Tuned,
The KOTR
Banned from TV… bars of the day awards
Feel free to leave comments and don’t forget to submit your own nominations for the ever so slimey “Banned from TV” bars of the day award, myself or another KOTR member will nominate another member or even another artist from outside the KOTR for the title of “Banned from TV” based on harsh lyrical content.
Studio session 3.4.10
What’s good yall. Your favorite group is back in the lab again. Nov has to lay his verse down on the new Unc Mike banger. The team is writing some new records. Trying to decide which songs to release… We literally find music that we forgot we even recorded. Crazy!!! Shouts to the dude Vital finishin up his mixtape for yall and holding it down for KOTR Long Island. We are gonna try and bless yall wit a video blog soon so stay tuned.
Back to work,
Nov
We don’t stop cuz We can’t stop…
What’s up people! Chief here to give you the pre-game run down of the ins and outs of a KOTR show day. Yeah we have 11 tracks that we as a team have to be ready for even though every artist is not on every track. You do the math that’s at least more than 11 16′s to remember and 11 choruses to remember. Producer/engineer: Novynova is on his way back from visiting a mentor and extended family upstate but he will still have to check over the show mixes, coordinate things between Young Lo and the DJ as well as the rest of the group, and there’s still new tracks for him to mix after the show… LOL Seriously though with all the necessary non-stop communicating that goes on I almost forget to sleep and and eat before the show. It’s all business all day until showtime then its hard work, then the funs over… Its back to business moving and shaking with the movers and shakers making sure things end properly. To top it off we still have unfinished Unc Mike tracks to finish let alone the 6 new ones he gave us; like I said “We don’t stop cuz We can’t stop”
When does it change
Whats up yall
I was talking to a family friend today about hiphop music and she had some very interesting opinions. The main gist of it was that today’s hiphop (with very few exceptions) sucks! But, the question that arose is when will hiphop go back to being worthwhile? I’m not sure but I pose the question out, well two questions actually:
What do you think about where hiphop is currently, and when do you think it’ll change (if you think it should)
Holla at me,
Nov
