Now many of you think of Vital as virtous man of respect and honor but even this knight keeps it dark and funky for the people. So dark and so funky that he is my nominee for the “Banned From TV” bars of the say award. Only Vital can say “Buried 6 feet under I’ll make you meet you maker/But it’s not me, I’ll be in Jamaica/puffing on a spliff so big it had to fit the paper/” [Off that "Where You Think You Going"] Too dirty too funny, cus a person might ignore that warning but authorities will smell the bud before they smell the body, lol! So true, so “Banned From TV”…
Surprise, surprise it would seem that as the summer gets closer the bars get dirtier and nastier… There was a time when Nov’ was too chivalrous of a knight too be banned from TV. But when you’re “Getting rid of these kids like Prom babies in the trash can”[Off that In The Building]- well you see that’s just it right there: You deserved to be banned from TV. Though in closing I must say I’ve never been so proud of my life; that’s one of the most fucked up lines I heard in a minute…. LMAO
Now fans you tell me and and the rest of the world what you think. Is that the harshest shit you heard today? Can you think of anything from anyone else that was worse? What’s up people! Chief here to give you the pre-game run down of the ins and outs of a KOTR show day. Yeah we have 11 tracks that we as a team have to be ready for even though every artist is not on every track. You do the math that’s at least more than 11 16′s to remember and 11 choruses to remember. Producer/engineer: Novynova is on his way back from visiting a mentor and extended family upstate but he will still have to check over the show mixes, coordinate things between Young Lo and the DJ as well as the rest of the group, and there’s still new tracks for him to mix after the show… LOL Seriously though with all the necessary non-stop communicating that goes on I almost forget to sleep and and eat before the show. It’s all business all day until showtime then its hard work, then the funs over… Its back to business moving and shaking with the movers and shakers making sure things end properly. To top it off we still have unfinished Unc Mike tracks to finish let alone the 6 new ones he gave us; like I said “We don’t stop cuz We can’t stop”

Pain and Glory

I’d like to take this time out to deliver a message to our listeners conocerning difference between entertainment and fact; and where those lines may cross.
You may hear me rhyme a nice punch line about a gun or drugs and honestly thats entertainment, I wouldn’t want the listener to think I was going to shoot them or sell them drugs: I’m a rapper! Still for those who live a street lifestyle there is vivid truth in those lines because it speaks to them in a laguage which is familiar to them.
We make music with that idea at the core of every song. No matter if you a london OG or you a canadian banger we all know the streets. And if you’re street where you’re from then the streets will always be where you’re at!
I dedicate this post to my nigga Ramsey Burnett holding it down in the GMDC as well as his wife Yolanda and his daughter Jannea. There is no glory in the cases young black men catch while trying to manuever the traps of the streets. The pain does not start or end with his incarceration; just like all our incarcerated young men and women- the pain spreads to family members and friends as brothers, sons, and fathers are ripped out of our lives. I pray you come home safe to all your family and friends with a fresh start at being the best you can be my nigga, I’ll be there…
Spittin What We Livin’

First off big shouts to everyone who enjoyed the music available on the site, we have so much more don’t worry; we’re just trying to complete an initial phase of this movement. All of our featured artist have music posted online or available through promotional mixes. Second I’m loving the comment activity: please don’t stop giving your opinion even if they’re not compliments; but compliments are a lot easier to remember.
It’s been a rigorous recording and mixing schedule including several consecutive days w/o sleep. Look out for solo projects from each group member as well as a main focal group project. My mix-tape: “Chief On The Radio”- will be ready and available for fans as soon as NovyNova decides he’s ready to hook me up with some mixing services.. 
For those who’ve been privy to performance footage or has actually attended a live performance may recognize some classics in mix-tapes to come in the future… I got all the old ones you want and new ones to add to the collection.
It’s been an involuntary hiatus from our routine hip-hop showcases but Mullaney’s always looking for ways to bring the fans the realness they crave- he knows we got it, and he knows how the fans need it. Along with some much appreciated initiative from Young Lo this communication handicap between us and the fans will be over shortly; thank you for bearing with us, can’t wait to see yah again!
